Vampire the Masquerade

Vampire the Masquerade uses the immortal Vampiric condition as a backdrop to explore themes of morality, depravity, the human condition (or appreciation of the human condition in its absence), salvation, and personal horror. The gloomy version of the real world that the Vampires inhabit forms an already bleak canvas against which the stories and struggles of characters are painted. The themes that the game seeks to address include retaining the character's sense of self, humanity, and sanity, as well as simply keeping from being crushed by the grim opposition of mortal and supernatural antagonists and, more poignantly, surviving the politics, treachery and often violent ambitions of their own kind.

The Game I am apart of....

The game I play in takes place in Victorian London in the year 1888.

It's a very exciting era to play in next to the Dark Ages when Vampires did not hide what they are, this is my favorite era.

We have a very diverse group. I have a few characters I rotate; my favorite character is a Toreador named Meg Giry. I based her story from the Phantom of the Opera but with a very interesting twist. When Christine found out that Erik was a Vampire she plotted with Raoul to kill him. Meg killed her and assumed her identity. Than there is Minder, a Brujah who is based on Mata Hari and currently I am playing Bella, a young woman from Romania who is believed to be the one who will bring back Hermes Magic to the Tremere. She is not a vampire, but a mortal living among them.

We have a Brujah Police Lieutenant, a Toreador artist who is destined to be involved with the Ripper story, a Ventrue who was the Sheriff and now on the way to being London's Marshall, a Gangral who runs a mission for homeless, a Tremere who released a demon and a Tremere of Spaniard Royalty.
