Michael has been invited to be part of the January 9, 2006 Phantom Gala even when it becomes the longest running show on Broadway.
I attended this event :o) it was an amazing night and Michael received a long and well deserved standing ovation.

The MCIFA has announced that Michael Crawford has declined coming to the US with Woman in White. He will however be doing a handful of concerts in various venues.

The MCIFA has announced that Michael Crawford's health will not permit
him to return to
The Woman In White in London. They state that Michael
has told them his health is
continuing to improve daily but he cannot
get up to full strength in time to fulfill
his
contract. There was no
mention of the U.S. production.

A tabloid has broken a story that Michael Crawford will NOT be returning to Woman in White.

Michael is extending his recovery time and will not be returning to Woman in White until May 2, 2005. Michael Ball has extended his stay in the show in the part of Count Fosco.

Woman in White goes to Chicago before New York
Woman in White is scheduled for a pre-Broadway engagement at the LaSalle Bank Theatre in Chicago, November 15, 2005 - January 8, 2006.
When it arrives in New York, possibly spring of 2006 it will be playing at the
LaSalle Bank Theatre (formerly the Shubert Theatre).

Michael Crawford takes a temporary leave from Woman in White
Michael Crawford, currently suffering from the flu under doctors orders has temporary left his role as Count Fosco in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Woman in White until April. Michael's replacement is Michael Ball. Michael's contract with WIW concludes in May, regardless of his sick leave and he has not yet decided if he will be going to tour to Chicago or New York.
